ACSM and the Clinical Exercise Physiology Association (CEPA) co-developed the “Clinical Exercise Physiology Registry.” The purpose of the registry is to: (1) positively verify the certification of actively practicing Clinical Exercise Physiologists; (2) recognize the professional experience of Clinical Exercise Physiologists; (3) distinguish areas of specialization; and, (4) identify the location of Clinical Exercise Physiologists by city and state. In addition, the registry will be used to raise the visibility of the unique value clinical exercise professionals provide to health care teams and increase the exposure to professional opportunities.
