Description

Do you ever feel as though you are just going through the motions? Do you ever feel as though you’re drifting through life without ever really getting any sense of inspiration, engagement, or excitement?

Now you are retired do you feel like you have no direction, no challenge, just day after day of the same?

Does life sometimes feel like a series of uninteresting chores?

Or perhaps you’re perfectly happy and comfortable. Maybe you spend most of your evenings on the sofa watching TV. Or even out at the corner bar with friends.

But does that really mean you need to spend your time just… passing time?

And are you really happy that way? Or do you feel on some level as though there are better uses of your time?

Studies have proven our mind; our brain needs to be exercised just like our muscles. Exercising our brain keeps it pliable and able to process complex thoughts. We need to challenge our thinking just like we need to challenge our muscle groups.

In this series of lectures, I have included both, exercises to help strengthen our physical body so that our balance is improved for greater mobility and perhaps even more independence and exercises to challenge our mind.

I will take you through the process of learning "Why Finding Your Purpose Changes Everything", how to find more meaning in life as we age. You will learn the importance of positive social interaction and how to manage social exchanges.

I will help you "Learn What You Stand For" and then how to conduct your life in harmony with your principles.

A physical exercise program is important at all times of life, but especially as we age. Ramping up your workouts is important in your senior years, as physical activity can improve your flexibility and reduce the risk of some health conditions.

Being mobile, strong, and steady on your feet can help you stay independent, which can boost your confidence and well-being as you get older.

It’s never too late to start an exercise program or make improvements to your current one. Once you have become comfortable doing these physical exercises, you can improve your balance even more with activities such as walking, chair yoga, and tai chi.

So, join me on the inside and let’s get started improving your way of life one simple activity at a time.

Who Should Attend!

  • This is designed for seniors 55 and older but obviously anyone new to exercise both mind and body can benefit from the information. We take it slow and easy with no hype, no screaming for more reps and sets. We just ask you to do what you can and over time we will improve on that.
