Description

  • Do you suffer with lower back pain, locked up hips or tight hamstrings?

  • Are you feeling stressed out or run down?

We have specifically designed this Yoga course to help.

Each day for just 15 minutes a day over 21 days, we will show you some long-hold passive poses, specifically targeting the 20+ muscles, fascia and soft tissue that make up this complex area of our body, enabling you to get more flexibility and mobility, reduce back pain and even improve your sleep.  This will also help to release any trapped emotions in your body.

You see, most people don’t realise that hip joint mobility is affected directly or indirectly by more than 20 different muscles, including various hip flexors, extensors, rotators, abductors, and adductors.

A mobility program has to include long-hold poses to access all those muscles and you need to practice a variety of poses to hit the various areas in different ways because true hip mobility is complex and multifactorial.

The last 18 months has been particularly challenging with so much stress and anxiety and these toxins get caught up in our bodies - particularly in our Pelvic area. These blockages prevent our flow of energy and can make us feel run down and tired.

Join us this on-demand course and practice just 15 minutes a day, ideally before bed, every day, for 21 days, and let’s unlock your tight hips and release those toxins from your body!

What is Gravity Yoga™️?

It is a mat-based targeted mobility training method designed for people with a stiff lower back, tight hips or locked-up hamstrings. It helps you to get more flexible as well as calm down your stressed out mind.

For flexibility gains, you need to supplement whatever you’re doing with long-hold passive postures that target specific areas. Gravity Yoga™️ also uses a down-regulating breathing pattern to assist in shutting off the stretch reflex and encouraging relaxation and release.

Gravity Yoga™️ is not a complete practice or exercise routine. It’s specifically focused on flexibility and it’s meant to compliment whatever else you’re doing for exercise.

Who is Gravity Yoga™️ for?

It is a great compliment to exercise you are currently already doing, because it helps to increase your flexibility, so you don't have to be rehabilitating from an injury or experiencing an injury to take part in this.

It's also great if you go to the gym, for runners, crossfitters, cyclists, footballers, rugby players, any sports people, PT's, Fitness instructors, if you already practice a different style of yoga and want more flexibility as well as if you're overcoming a long term injury.

Gravity Yoga is also suitable for beginners, so if you’ve never done any yoga previously, that’s ok! You don’t need any equipment either - we will show you household items that you can use as props.

Who Should Attend!

  • Suitable for beginners and those with some yoga experience
  • Suitable as a supplement to exercise students are already completing
  • Students overcoming an injury (although we always advise to gain your doctors permission before undertaking a new exercise regime)
