IMPORTANT
If there are low enrolments on this course this means that:
1. This is a very new course
2. I have NOT given away thousands of free coupons to create an impression that huge numbers of students have enrolled
3. Also the majority of those with free coupons never look at any lectures and certainly do not participate in the Q/A!
Now, read on about the course.
This course has four Instructors from four different countries each creating a short course explaining - going through - various Art Therapy Exercises.
With four Instructors on a course - all willing to take questions, to expand, to discuss - students have four times the usual resources available.
The four courses:
a. Sara - goes through various Art Therapy exercises she gives her class
b. Pepe - we see numerous cartoons drawn by Pepe. Each cartoon represents a word/concept/thought. This can then be explored
c. Elina - we see (read) her thoughts before the exercise; we see her DOING the exercise and then we hear her reflections
d. Chris - he compiled the course but there is also a 7-day course within the overall structure. this is a series exercises spread over 7 days. Again, Chris is here to expand and discuss the various days work.
And now a FIFTH course has been added about EMOTIONS
a. different emotions in art
b. analysing art work
c. abstract art and emotions
d. poetry and emotions
c. how the Art Therapist helps with emotions and their understanding
But also:
A two part section on Poetry Therapy. This includes poems written by and read by (with interviews) members of The Stroke Club in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK
Remember too that this course is made up of:
a. Lectures
b. Educational Announcements
c. Discussion topics in the Q/A (plus responses to questions)
d. As the course develops so there will be further lectures. One example is the addition of poetry therapy videos which are videos made in response to poems submitted by students. Maybe you (the enrolled student) would also be willing to submit?
Over and above, this is a course about DOING Art Therapy. We (the 4 Instructors) want to involve you (the students) in this course and its development.
