This course focuses specifically on the fit, functional, and testing of adaptive fashion. While this course is geared towards designers, technical designers, product developers, and production managers, learning what goes into developing adaptive fashion will also benefit merchandisers, buyers, e-commerce specialists, marketing teams, company executives, and more. After a brief introduction in lecture 1, we will explore the importance of fit and functionality in adaptive fashion in lecture 2. Lectures 3 and 4 focus on fit & functionality considerations, including what to consider during the fit process to ensure products fit and function as well as possible. In lecture 5, we will cover how people with disabiltiies should be involved in the adaptive fashion development process. We will finish this course by hearing from Izzy Camilleri, the founder of IZ Adaptive and a pioneer in the adaptive fashion resurgence in lecture 6.
