Counseling and psychotherapy can play a pivotal role in an individual’s emotional healing journey. A counselor, a psychotherapist may find themselves in a dilemma as to what strategies can best help their client seek that emotional growth. Through this course, an ample number of skills, and strategies along with interesting examples have been discussed so as to facilitate the process of counselling and psychotherapy.
The course is oriented towards helping the learners become familiar with diverse concerns that they may come across in a therapeutic set-up and how they can navigate their path as a counsellor. It focuses on the journey of a therapist becoming a MASTER THERAPIST. You will learn various different techniques of counseling.
In this course, paradoxical interventions have been discussed in length along with other elements of counselling such as the use of Socratic questioning, analogies, reflecting on humour as a part of the therapeutic process and the ethical guidelines that one needs to be mindful of as a mental health professional.
This course can help psychologists improve their contribution to the field of mental health and more so to excel as a MASTER THERAPIST.
