In this math course, you will learn everything about quadratic functions and its application problems. You will first be introduced to the characteristics of quadratic functions such as: vertex, x-intercept, y-intercept, axis of symmetry, domain, range, concavity. Once you have a good understanding of what a quadratic function looks like, I will teach you how to properly graph a quadratic function in three forms: vertex form, standard form, x-intercept form. I will teach you how to find vertex in any form. After completing the course, you can easily find the vertex in any form of the quadratic function. I will teach you how to convert from standard form to vertex form by completing the square. I will also go over the discriminant rule which determines how much x-intercept the function has. Just like linear function, you can find an equation of a quadratic function using pieces of information that is given. Finally, you will use what you learn in this course, and apply real world application problems. You can test your knowledge by doing the final exam pdf form.
