Description

How would you like to be a published author by the end of the day?  Have you heard of Amazon Kindle Vella?

I'm talking about from scratch, meaning you haven't written a word yet, let alone an entire book. You don't have a book cover. You don't even have a plot yet. From scratch – as in a dead halt. In just eight hours, you can be a published author.

And not just anywhere, but on the largest book retailer in the world: Amazon. And not just in any format, but in the hottest format in the world: eBook.

And what if I was to tell you that your book would be targeted at the fastest growing reading platform in the world: Mobile devices (AKA cellphones). It turns out that cell phone readers are hungry for short fiction on the move, and Amazon is releasing the platform that satisfies that hunger.

Finally, what if I was to tell you that you had your best odds of becoming an Amazon bestseller on this particular platform because the platform is brand new?

Sound too good to be true? Well, it's all true, and it's all free.

So, do you have eight hours to spare?

Welcome to Kindle Vella, the self-publishing platform that allows you to self-publish your books a chapter at a time. Except that on Kindle Vella, books are called stories, and chapters are episodes.

Vella is a new Amazon self-publishing option, announced in April of 2021, that allows independent writers to self-publish eBooks in serial format on Amazon. Rather than waiting to publish a finished book, referred to as a story, you can publish individual chapters, referred to as episodes. Stories can contain any number of episodes, but episodes must be between 600 and 5000 words in length. Mobile phone readers prefer to read short fiction while on the go.

Amazon Vella is currently in beta release, which allows writers to begin publishing their work. The reader interface to Vella will be released before the end of July 2021. Now is the perfect time to get involved in Amazon Vella publication. Additionally, Amazon Vella provides the perfect opportunity for independent writers to self-publish their work without first writing an entire book.

Remember, this course not only teaches you how to publish on Amazon Villa, but it also helps you outline, write, and copy edit compelling short fiction. It does so by offering downloadable templates that include a plot template, people, and places bible and story image template.

Now is the time to strike. The commitment is minimal. I explain the entire process. So, preview the start of the course to see if you like my teaching style, then enroll. Time is running out.

Important Notes:

  1. Kindle Vella will only be available in the United States store.

  2. You cannot also publish Vella stories in other formats including Amazon Kindle.

  3. You can publish non-fiction Vella stories.

I'll see you in the classroom.
