The learning of the CAD programs is essential for the mechanical design, part modeling and manufacturing. This course provides the basics for one of the CAD programs - Autodesk INVENTOR. The course starts form zero or beginner level, intermediate and up to the advanced level. The course consists of three levels.
level 1, for the beginners and how start with 2D sketching features, dimensions and constrains, parametric function and how link the part dimensions with Excel sheet, and the part modeling features by which the students are able to convert any 2D sketch to complete parts using INVENTOR.
Level 2, for the intermediate level at which the students will be learned how use the INVENTOR assembly constrains and joint features, how to modify the assembly, how to use the inventor standard parts as the bolts, nuts, washers…. etc. In addition, how create a drive motion for the parts.
Finally, the features the features for the stress and finite element analysis (FEA), animation motion for the assembly and disassembly and final working and construction drawing will be illustrated in the level 3.
In these tutorials we will focus on Level 1 which consists of 5 parts, level 1_Part 1 to illustrate the user interface, Level 1_Part 2 for the 2D sketching essentials, Level 1_Part 3 for the dimensions and constrains, Level 1_Part 4 for the Parametric function and finally level 1_Part 5 for the part modeling.
