Welcome to this Revit & Robot Structural Analysis Course!
Let's see what we are going to cover in this course:
First of all, we will modify an AutoCAD plan to make it ready for import into Revit. After that, we'll import the AutoCAD file into Revit and focus on the modeling of Reinforced Concrete Elements like Columns, Beams, and Slabs.
We will also delve into advanced modeling of stairs, which is a crucial aspect of structural design.
Following that, we'll export the model to Robot Structural Analysis for further tasks such as Analysis and Design. In Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis, we will analyze and design Beams, Columns, and Slabs using both the Required Reinforcement Method and Provided Reinforcement Method.
We'll also design Slabs and Footings in Robot Structural Analysis, all from a Structural Analysis point of view.
In short: AutoCAD to Revit, and then Revit to Robot Structural Analysis.
All the content in this course is well-organized and presented in a step-by-step manner, making it easy to follow with comprehensive explanations. For example, I've explained the proper settings for the AutoCAD file before exporting it to Revit, ensuring you won't encounter issues in the future. I've also discussed common problems that may arise in Revit during advanced modeling, such as with stairs, and how to solve them efficiently.
I've also addressed issues that you might encounter in Robot Structural Analysis Professional, particularly while designing foundations.
Hope you will enjoy this course!
