Description

In this course, I teach you the information you need to know to be an Avionics Designer. I teach you how to properly draw and interpret aerospace wiring diagrams, parts selection, how to navigation military standard specifications and finally how to certify your design. Whether you're a student, recent graduate or seasoned Aerospace Engineer this course fills in the gaps of your knowledge about avionics design so you can be a rock star at work.

All companies whether it be Boeing, Airbus, or even SpaceX have to draw their wiring diagrams according to the ASME Y14 drawing standard. That means that the method in which wiring diagrams are drawn all follow the same principles. In this course, I demystify the world of Avionics for you and not only teach you how to interpret but also how to properly draw excellent wiring diagrams.

Parts selection is also standardized in the industry. Almost all aerospace parts whether they be in aircraft or rocket ships use military specification standards to be manufactured to. If you know how to come up with a part number in accordance with the standard you can understand how to order any part. I go through the most commonly used military standards and teach you how to create the sequence of numbers and letters that make up a part number so you can understand how to do the job of an avionics designer.

Lastly, with every design must come the proper documentation. I go over with you how companies create aircraft certification documents so that you understand the full process from design to certification.
