Description
The EduMaps "Back to Basics" Math Programme was crafted to solve a global problem where 50% plus of learners in Grades 3-7 are struggling to understand and pass their maths courses.
The course is not Grade-specific, but rather fundamentals-based. If you can add 18+9, you should be able to add any numbers. If you can subtract 9 from 18, you should be able to subtract any numbers. If you can multiply 18x9, you should be able to multiply any two numbers. If you can divide 18 by 9, you should be able to divide any two numbers.
Maths at Primary level is NOT 'rocket science'. Learners should not be struggling to do basic math operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
EduMaps "Back to Basics" Math Programme should be taken and completed step-by-step as presented. Learners must not skip sections. The whole idea is to make 100% sure they understand the fundamentals.
Once they understand the fundamental basics, everything else falls in place.
Research has shown that kids who do not know their 12 Times Tables by heart tend to struggle more than other kids. A big emphasis has therefore been given to Sessions on tables.
