Please note this practice exam is designed for the 2016 version of the CT CALGreen Inspector / Plans Examiner certification exam administered by the International Code Council (ICC). The exam is open book and the references that can be used for this exam is the 2016 California Green Building Standards Code® also known as the CALGreen®.
Important information: For anyone who passes the CT CALGreen Inspector/Plans Examiner certification exam through ICC will receive the designation to be known as a Certified CALGreen Inspector/Plans Examiner. In addition, as of July 2017, ICC has created a new combination designation for those who hold a current AIA, PE, CBO, CFM, or MCP license or designation. The new designation is known as the Certified Sustainability Professional (CSP). For those in California, passing the CT certification exam while holding a current AIA, PE, CBO, CFM, or MCP license or designation will allow you to obtain the (CSP) designation along with the Certified CALGreen Inspector/Plans Examiner designation as well. This new designation was designed to provide professionals proficiency in sustainability without having to obtain another license or designation.
