Description

In "Cinematography Simplified", you will gain the basic knowledge to give you the groundwork to become a working cinematographer in the film/media industry. This course is geared for students with a 1-4 out of 10 knowledge base in cinematography. This course focuses more on the basics, so that in the future, you can expand creatively.


We will go over:

  • Camera basics (resolutions, sensor sizes, bit rates, etc.)

  • Lighting basics (getting proper exposure, where to place your lights, etc.)

  • Composition (standard camera compositions as well as general rules for how to cover a scene)

  • The Industry (how to get hired and stay relevant)


This course features video lectures, as well as active demonstrations, and lighting breakdowns. This course is taught by a working professional in the film industry. It is important to learn from somebody with real-life, practical experiences.
