This is Course 2 from the Case Management 101: Course 1. Here we will pick up where we left off by getting more in-depth with the process of being a case manager/support coordinator. Please understand this is non-clinical case management and not to be confused with medical case management. If you are getting ready to start a job in the case manager/support coordinator field, this is the course for you.
This course also assists with understanding jobs within the social work, psychology, counseling, community health worker, and health and human services field. I always recommend that student abide by their agency policies and procedures. Take a few hours to listen to the material and give us feedback if the material helped you in seeking employment or help with your staff.
This course was created to assist those who are interested in working in case management at a high school level (Community Health Workers) and bachelor/master's level. The content was created to reassure the students that although you may see case manager positions available in the workforce for RN/LPN professionals; it is also a profession for others. Bachelors/Master level social work, psychology, or counseling graduates are eligible to work with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities.
*This training is a part of the Texas Community Health Worker CEU program. AEIC Case Management LLC is a certified instructor location.
