Description
This course is designed to teach you how to write a CNC program for a 3 axis cnc milling machine.
Many students find it difficult learning how to program a cnc machine, and the reasons include but not exclusive to:
* Lack of resources (cnc machine, stock etc.)
* Danger of being injured by the machine as a novice.
* Danger of destroying the machine as a novice.
* Lack of proper guidance.
This course seeks to address the reasons stated above, due to this the entire course uses a simulation environment instead of a real cnc machine, this way one will not need to worry about the problems stated above. The software used in this course is able to simulate the entire behavior of a real world cnc machine from setting of your work offsets, to homing, jogging, using of clamps and vice to hold your stock, arranging your tools in your tool magazine for the automatic tool changer and many more, by the time you done with this course you will be good at programming a cnc mill.
