This mini course is the second in the series and is focusing on phase 1-4 of the scientifically researched and highly acknowledged 7-phase methodology, presented in the FREE introductionary course.
Phase 1: "Development of Specification Processes"
-I will teach you exactly HOW to start and scope the undertaking of a project on modularization or mass customization, so you can get going on your journey towards all of the massive benefits and competitive edge that can be achieved!
-I will teach you to fully understand where you can have the greatest impact and leverage your business performance the most using multi parameter ABC-analysis, AND you are provided with a plug and play ABC-analysis template accompanied by a step-by-step guide, so you can get moving fast!
-I will teach you how to map, analyze, and reengineer your processes through Value Stream Mapping in full alignment with core principles of LEAN.
-In the end of the section I will demonstrate how to obtain a holistic overview of processes, it's actors, and their roles and responsibilities utilizing the highly visually intuitive Swimlane Diagram
Phase 2-4 : Product Range and Object Oriented Modelling & Design
-You will learn about the 4 efforts for modularizing your product portfolio, and HOW to connect it with the ABC-analysis
-You will learn about 3 different modelling tools, that can be used for visualizing, communicating, and formalize product knowledge with Object Oriented Modelling:
1) Product Variant Master (PVM)
2) Class Diagrams
3) Class Responsibility Collaboration (CRC) cards
-Finally we will dive in to the best possible fit in terms of configuration software depending on the contextual situation, objective and existing complexity within the company or organization.
There are NO prerequisites for taking this mini course, though I would recommend you to watch the first in the series prior to this one. The first introduction course of the series, is completely FREE.
