Do you know that your relationship with money plays a critical role in whether you achieve long-lasting financial wellness and create and attract wealth?
We need to consider two aspects of money which both play a role in our financial success. We must acquire the (IQ) technical skills required to manage money well (something we aren't taught at schools or universities). This aspect deals with our ability to manage money, invest it and grow it. The majority of parents themselves are unable to teach money skills in an empowering and positive manner and may unintentionally pass on their preconditioned ideas about money to their children, causing more damage than intended.
We must also consider our (EQ) emotional relationship with money. This involves our thoughts, beliefs, and behavior toward money. It also includes the language we use when we talk about money. Our relationship with money stems from our childhood memories of money which are generally passed onto us by our parents, grandparents, teachers, role models, and other influential sources in our life.
