The course is divided into two parts. Part I is about introducing you to Crochet, and getting you set up with the tools of the trade. In this part we will also cover the basic stitches, these will stay with you forever, no matter how complex your future projects are. Part II is more advanced, and builds on the fundamentals we learned in Part I, to teach intermediate stitches and techniques.
Finally, we’ll put our knowledge to good use and build three mini projects: a classic design you’ll see everywhere, the Granny Square; an appliqué, a christmas tree; and a pair of cherries, also an appliqué.
There are quizzes available in each section as well as assessments in some lectures to evaluate your learning and progress.
I’ve also included 32 downloadable attachments (DLC) that you can find in the corresponding lecture and in the Appendix; these cover abbreviations, terminology, needle & yarn dimension tables, yarn labels, conversion charts, etc. If it’s possible for you I recommend you to print them out and keep them close at hand while you crochet. Finally, I would like to suggest you that if you find my rhythm too fast or too slow, you can adjust the settings on the video player to either slow me down or speed me up.
I hope you enjoy this course and I bid you a successful crochet journey!
