In this course I will show you the basics of Pencil strokes, pencil pressure, and how to layer your pencils to create more realistic work. In the first section I will show you how the different pressures with the pencil strokes makes a difference in how you apply the pencil. Then we will slowly build up color starting with one color then up to four colors and you will clearly see it goes from very flat to three dimensional. For our Project we will be creating realistic cherries. It's important to know the proper way to layer and apply the pencil to come out with a realistic result. I will guide you the whole way through the drawing, step by step. If you don't have the same supplies, That is OK! You can use similar colors in whatever brand of pencils you have. Any cotton paper will do as well. Starting off with the basics is key to becoming a better artist! There are so many amazing resources and sometimes hard to figure out where to begin. I hope this helps you to understand one of the fundamentals of colored pencils!
