I will teach you how to draw landscapes with simple charcoal techniques. I will show techniques for drawing water, mountains, clouds, trees and shadows. I introduce the essential tools for charcoal drawing and explain the uses of each one. I also explain how to use specific techniques for each tool. There are a variety of ways in which you can use these tools. I will teach you how to use charcoal while learning the foundations of art including drawing, shading, lighting, and contrast. This course is for beginners who want to learn how to use this medium. Charcoal can be a really fun medium to work with. It was difficult for me to find a teacher when I was a beginner, so this course is designed for people who want to learn this medium which isn't taught very often.
