If you are a data practitioner or an aspiring data practitioner, you have been frustrated at one time or another about working with internal or external clients, or even with colleagues within our organizations. You have wished for a better working relationship with clients, colleagues, and team members. You have wished for a smoother project execution and a more fulfilling project experience.
If you work in data, statistics, analytics, data science, or technology—if you are a data professional, you are not alone.
These challenges are rooted in the fact that, despite our obvious technical competencies, we work with humans in some capacity. In this course, we will begin by framing what it means to be data professionals in the context of the world today. We will then present a paradigm of effectiveness, addressing client and project management, trust building, and risk and issue management.
This course is intended for current and aspiring technical professionals in data, including analytics, statistics, data science, business intelligence, data engineering, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data management and administration, and information technology, among others.
Learn what it means to work with humans as well as what it means that we are humans, also, however technical and logical our professional work may be.
