my name is nesrine .i am a resident in digestive surgery in my fifth year .as a medical student i want to create some courses that may help students understand well emergencies in digestive surgery that are so commun and crucial to know . looking for a complete course is so tough .sometimes some parts are missed mainly surgical techniques .so as a surgeon in this course we will focus especially on surgical techniques in order to help students in practice and theory also
this course is mainly for medical students or residents in digestive surgery .it is about emergencies in digestive surgery .the first section is about acute appendicitis ; everything that a medical student should know about dealing with acute appendicitis :diagnosis , prognosis, treatment etc
the next sections will deal with , bowel strangulation , cholecystitis ;cholangitis ,mesenteric ischemia ,anal abcess ,peritonitis etc
all the sections will be brief and clear .we talk about the updates and news in each lesson in order to have the clearest idea about these emergencies .our references are internet ,emc ,pubmed and scientific journals .
