What if you can gain a professional set of nail skills in a matter of weeks, not years? Are you planning on creating a home-based business of providing nail services? If you would like to get trained in a structural, effective curriculum to do nails from home, or even if you are a nail technician who would like to improve your nail game, this is the course for you.
My name is Andy Hai Dinh. I'm the founder of Life of Nails Academy (LONA) - an online hub for nail resources. As a professional nail artist and nail educator since 2004, I have been a brand ambassador for popular nail brands such as EZFlow, IBD, China Glaze and Chisel Nail Art. Currently, I am the head educator for Nail Supply Discount, a wholesale nail company located in Arlington, TX. I am also the head educator for the Bella V Nail Supply retailers franchise in Texas.
My training method is the accumulation of over 10 years of training more than 1600 nail professionals all over the US. You will be learning the exact nail procedures in an accelerated training program which I have been using to train my other students from not knowing how to do nails to creating beautiful, professional-looking acrylic and dipping powder nails in just a short few weeks.
After the completion of this course and some more practice on your own, you will be able to provide some of the most requested acrylic and dipping powder services.
This course is the foundation from which you will acquire all of the essential knowledge of tools, equipments, products, applications and filing procedures to do artificial nails professionally.
Last but not least, I will show you how to take beautiful photos and videos of your works for promotional purposes.
Why should you consider a nail career?
With the growth of social media, nails have since become a fashion statement and self-expression for people from all paths of life. As an important part of self-care, nails are essential when it comes to beauty services. Having a skill set in doing nails and great customer service means you will hardly ever be out of work. After the Covid pandemic, home service providers have significantly increased and become a common practice in the nail industry - creating more home-based business opportunities for many people.
WHY I HAVE TO KEEP LEARNING AS A NAIL PROFESSIONAL
by Andy Hai Dinh
Over the past twenty years, I have evolved so much as a nail professional. Doing nails is not just a trade but a passion which propels me on my learning path. I have progressed even further to become a nail educator and challenge myself at the top level in the nail industry.
The nail world is changing around me in such a frantic pace that if I do not continue to grow and develop, I will soon be left behind. I feel the urge to be a lifelong learner, because there is always something new for me to learn and there are so many talented artists out there for me to look up to.
As a friend and colleague of mine mentioned, having a passion to pursuit this nail business needs to go hand-in-hand with earning a sufficient income, or else it will not be a long-lasting career for us nailsters. I totally agreed with him. I understand, only by constantly keeping my skills sharp and up-to-date, that I can have an edge in what I do for a living. It has been true - the better I can do my job, the more clients I have and the more money I get to bring home.
I sincerely hope for all of us nail professionals to keep a positive learning attitude, continue to acquire more training, and challenge ourselves with new accomplishments. There is no better way for us to contribute our work and success to our loved ones and to the growth of the nail industry. I believe in each of us, there is a natural desire to learn and adapt to change, to enrich and fulfill our lives. Good luck, have fun and make serious money doing nails!
