Welcome to an experiential journey into the Breath. This is a taster course that will take you through some simple breathwork and connect you to the amazing world of pranayama.
The aim of this course is to empower you to practice with purpose and use pranayama as a tool to manage your health and well-being. You will learn simple but very profound techniques that you can use in your everyday life depending on your needs.
If you are new to pranayama or you want to refresh what you have previously studied this course is for you.
We will be exploring breathing techniques that are key to the ancient yogic practice of pranayama. You will learn about and practice techniques to energize, ground, soothe, stimulate, and relax. By the end of the course, you can mix and match techniques to create practices of your choosing.
This course is fast-paced, and designed to transmit a selection of pranayama techniques suitable for all levels so you can establish a pranayama practice in the shortest amount of time. It will give you a foundation of experience and understanding to build and develop your own basic practice of breathwork with confidence.
In the first half of the course, you will learn and practice 5 pranayama techniques, and then in the second half of the course, there are 4 mini-practices for you to experience that demonstrate how different techniques can be combined according to the desired effect that you are looking for.
