This course is for anyone who wants to learn fluid dynamics and/or aeronautics, with or without an existing background in this subject. Starting with the core fundamentals which govern both fluid dynamics and aeronautics, this course will teach you how they work, who discovered the natural laws behind them along with how these laws work.
As you progress through this course, you will see how these areas of physics/engineering allows us to make aircraft fly, boats sail, and generate power or move water using fluid dynamics.
This course will cover ideal gas law, Bernoulli’s principle, Archimedes principle, forces for fluid, adiabatic and isentropic fluid flows, fluid vorticity, airfoil design, propeller design, as well as the functions and characteristics of both cyclorotors and lighter than air aircraft.
Starting from a basic grasp of what this subject is, you will learn the knowledge and tools which will help you understand these fields, and gain a confidence to progress further into education with these subjects after this course.
