Welcome to our study, Foundations of Biblical Theology! Our aim in this course is to walk through the key doctrines necessary for the future of Christendom. We'll trace the biblical story of redemption by first considering the concepts of infallibility and authority--who gets to say what is true or not true? The Bible? Or man? Afterwards we'll look at the doctrine of the Triune God as revealed to us in Scripture. From there we begin the story of Creation and God's providential care over the majesty that is His beautiful handiwork. We know that this master craftsmanship of creation was stained when man sinned against God and rebelled. What is the hope? It is Christ and his atonement! Once we get these first five courses under our belt, we'll then look at the doctrine of covenant as well as the doctrine of the ecclesia--the Church. From here we'll analyze the concept of law and God's law which fills it out. Finally, during the last two courses, we'll look at eschatology proper and how we should view history and the future, as well as the issue of culture: what has God assigned for us to do? I want to thank you for considering this course and I trust and pray that you'll be edified and blessed as you learn more about the biblical doctrines that are for the future of Christendom.
