"Happy Mind. Happy Feet." is a program for all-ages of dancers who have a desire to learn more about the psychology of dance. Whether you are focused in jazz, ballet, contemporary, tap, theater or Hip Hop, there are factors that are important to be able to dance professionally and be able to present yourself as a professional, student dancer.
How do you describe yourself as a professional, student dancer? Sometimes we have confidence dancing and we don’t know how to improve our self-esteem as a student dancer. Who do you go for for help? Sometimes we have injuries that really destroy our morale. There’s even times when we want to build ourselves up and ace an audition! And there’s also times that we want to give up and just don’t feel like dancing. Hopefully these tools will help you overcome these types of challenges. Especially because psychology in Dance typically isn’t addressed at our local neighborhood dance schools.
