Description

Does your organization struggle with bringing projects to completion on time? Do you wish your programs would have better adoption rates? Do you struggle with team resistance when trying to roll out a new initiative? Do you wish you had tools to help improve communication in your organization?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then this course is for you!

These are common barriers to to success in healthcare organizations. Clinicians and clinical leaders often wear multiple hats. Whether that hat is preceptor, project manager, project leader, staff development, or one of the many other hats that are required for that catch-all phrase at the end of most job descriptions: "And any other tasks required by management" - we're not often taught the skills to be successful in those roles. We went to school to be nurses, therapists, and physicians – not managers, project managers, or organizational change leaders.

This course combines content from my Healthcare Project Management, Change Management in Healthcare, and Communication Basics courses - providing a comprehensive introduction to tools and techniques to set your healthcare initiatives up for success. You'll be introduced to project basics, like the project life cycle and tools and techniques to help achieve success in each phase. You'll gain an understanding of change management models and methods of navigating organizational change during each phase of the project life cycle. And you'll receive techniques for improving communication within your team and throughout your organization.

I've included additional activities in this course to support your journey and encourage immediate application of your new knowledge.

Let the journey begin!
