Description

A 10-part course designed to take you through everything you need to know about the IB English Individual Oral (IO). From what is the IO, to what topics or texts can be chosen and how to prepare your conclusion, you will have all the tools you need for a successful IO presentation.  Each section is around 10 minutes long and should be done in order.

We suggest one section every few days and keep notes so that you can use everything you learn at school.

This course is for English Language & Literature SL and HL as well as English Language SL and HL.

Tao is a highly experienced English teacher, passionate about language and literature. She has been an IB English Examiner for over fourteen years. Unquestionably, she believes in the importance of critical thinking and creativity in education. First, she worked in schools in the UK, then Portugal and Greece both as a classroom teacher and a Head of Department.
