It’s just become a popularized way of describing the discounting of any achievements and the experiences of major doubt some people have, which can get in the way of going after major goals. Some people, who experience imposter syndrome, often feel like a fraud, and they worry that they’ll be exposed as a fake. Also, some people are terrified of failing and worry about being discovered and seen as incompetent. So when the term imposter syndrome is used in this course, that’s the context.
