The course introduces the principles and concepts of statistical quality control, quality improvement tools, control charts for variables, control charts for attributes, choice between attribute and variable control charts, process capability measures. It also covers the types of attribute acceptance sampling plans, characteristics of acceptance sampling plans, producer consumers‘ relationships, performance
of acceptance sampling plans, economics of acceptance sampling plans. The standard attribute acceptance sampling plans applications and limitation, the quality in design, reliability, product life and process design are included.
