This course is a breakdown and overview of the Internal Family Systems IFS Therapy model designed to get you acquainted with the terminology and verbiage used within this psychotherapeutic tool for true liberation and metamorphosis, helping you or your clients reach goals of personal development. Often referred to as "Parts Work", IFS understands we are a multiplicity of the mind by nature; that we are made of up of many "parts" who help us walk through the world. IFS understands that these parts of us are very important for a multitude of reasons, including helping us navigate challenging situations and helping us find a sense of safety in an uncertain world. This course is a deep dive to cover the basics so you can move forward using this model to meet your own parts, navigate your inner world and how it is structured, and help others do the same. This type of approach differs from traditional psychotherapeutic tools in that it really helps get into the deepest corners of the psyche and change beliefs and patterns from the inside out in a way that is safe for the nervous system to comprehend. This type of self-awareness has numerous benefits, but offers more clarity, confidence, compassion, and courage through Self-leadership.
