In this course you will learn the essential of a college level, and high school level trigonometry course. This course will cover:
Different type of triangles: right, obtuse, acute, isosceles, scalene, equilateral triangle
Radian and degree measure with conversion
Degree, minute, second conversion
Six trigonometry functions and the unit circle
Special right triangles
Reference angle
Trigonometric function of any angle
Fundamental identities
Verifying trigonometric identities
Sum and difference formulas
Double angle and half-angle identities
Graphing sine and cosine graphs
Graphing tangent and cotangent graphs
Inverse trigonometric functions
Law of sine and cosine
Polar equations
Powers and roots of complex numbers
Trigonometric form of complex numbers
This course will first introduce the different type of triangles, and how determine which triangle you have. This course will go over the six trigonometric functions and the unit circle. This course will go over right triangles, and application problems related to right triangle problems. This course will go over radian and degree measure with conversion. This course will go over special right triangle, reference angle, trigonometric function of any angle. You will learn about fundamental identities, and use those fundamental identities to do proofs. You can find sine, cosine, and tangent of angles that's not within the unit circle by using sum and difference formulas. You will learn about double angle and half-angle identities. You will learn about graphing: sine, cosine, tangent, and cotangent graphs with its shift, reflection, and translation. You will learn about inverse trigonometric functions. You can find missing side lengths or missing angles by using law of sine and cosine. Finally, the course will end with: polar equations, powers and roots of complex numbers, trigonometric form of complex numbers.
