Description

This is course (1 of 4) in the GPMM 3.0 Course Suite covering how to manage projects in all 3 ways; Hybrid, Agile and Plan driven. With the additional value of using the world leading model: GPMM – the Greenlight Project Management Model.

This course covers the Big picture of the various elements in project management, the importance of a common project culture and the role of the Project Manager as well as other key roles in and around projects.

The use of the GPMM model and manual is highlighted in each of these areas, showing how they can be of hands-on, practical utility towards a better understanding and better results in projects.

The GPMM model is an Agile Project Management model, thus describing how to manage Hybrid-, Plan driven (traditional)-, and Value driven (Agile) projects.

Learning Objectives:

Have better knowledge of the project work form and the importance of a common project culture.
Understand how project management will help an organization to become Agile (meaning being flexible, dynamic and good in continuously reinventing itself to achieve what the ever-changing marketplace requires.
Be familiar with the GPMM model and manual and an understand how to use them for better results, in Hybrid, Agile and Plan driven projects.
Understand the role of the Project Manager as well as other key roles in a multi-project organization.
Understand the interaction between projects, programs and the functional organization.
Understand the Core 3 model and the interaction between projects, the business and sales processes.
Be able to use the GPMM Project Management Model. (GPMM is a practical model aligned with the PMI standards, SAFe, Agile Manifesto, BABOK and Prince 2.) GPMM not only tells WHAT to do do but also HOW to do it.
