Description

Mindful yoga improves mental and emotional well-being, together with all the physical benefits of yoga.

I'm delighted to be sharing this new and unique 'Introduction to Mindful Yoga and Mindfulness' course with you.

Mindful yoga has transformed my own well-being in so many positive ways that I have lost count! I discovered that when I merged mindfulness and yoga using evidence-based techniques, it not only improved my emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health but mindfulness became much easier to learn and practice too.

This course combines evidence-backed mindfulness techniques and systematically weaves these with yoga and self-compassion. It is for anyone interested in learning mindfulness and for those wanting to combine mindfulness and yoga to improve their well-being and self-development. It will also show you how to deepen your existing yoga practice through mindfulness.

In this short course, you will gradually learn how to practice mindful yoga and mindfulness. We will do this through mindful yoga sessions, home practices, reflective work and meditations. Step by step, you will learn how to transform the physical benefits of stretching and strengthening into a deeper yoga practice that benefits your whole mind-body system and which deepens your awareness and growth.  You will learn simple ways to bring mindfulness and into your daily life and yoga to promote self-care and reduce stress, anxiety and overwhelm.

By the end of this short course, you will understand what mindfulness is, how to nurture it in your daily life and how to practice yoga mindfully. You will gain important insights into the nature and patterns of the mind, and increase your mind-body awareness to support your emotional health and well-being. You will feel confident in weaving mindfulness skills into your regular yoga and movement practices, and you will improve your mobility, strength, and flexibility along the way.

My intention in developing and sharing this mindful yoga course is to make all of the benefits of mindfulness and yoga more accessible to everyone.
