Have you always wanted to explore the natural cycles of the moon?
Have you ever wondered how you can tap into that energy cycle to bring greater fulfillment into your life?
Everything in nature is a cycle from growth to seasons to the sun and moon...but the lunar cycle is very unique. At each point of the lunar cycle we feel a natural change in our energy - either up or down - either turning inwards or outwards. Rather than ignoring that energy cycle, we are going to tap into it to help us manifest our dreams and intentions. Just like when we set our intentions around the start of the new year, we will use the lunar cycles to set smaller, more achievable intentions to help keep us on track and move us forward towards our dreams.
This course includes Yin and Restorative Yoga practices to help us tune in and connect to the energy as well as help us connect to what we really want (and don't want) in our lives. Meditation will help guide us in focusing our energy where we want it to go and journaling will help us discover what each lunar cycle means to us personally. We will be exploring the main cycles: New Moon, Waxing Moon, Full Moon, and Waning Moon using yoga, meditation, and journaling.
Imagine exploring and connecting to yourself in new ways - opening up to new possibilities. Imagine exploring the deeper connections of mind and body as they relate to your health and daily life overall. Imagine manifesting your dreams in clear and achievable steps throughout the year, moving yourself forward toward your best life.
Yin Yoga provides an opportunity to heal the mind and body - releasing tension, relieving stress, and allowing the mind and body to return to balance. Yin Yoga poses focus on mobilizing and strengthening your connective tissue throughout the body, helping improve overall flexibility and mobility, improving joint and bone health, creating greater mental focus, and fostering a sense of connection and healing. Poses are held from 1-8 minutes to target the deep connective tissue and are the perfect balance to our very active lifestyles.
Restorative Yoga helps us heal, soften and release - allowing us to let go of all the tension of the day and allow our bodies time to fully rest. Restorative Yoga poses are held for 5-15 minutes each using props (either yoga props or home props - I have included a sheet in the introduction with all the details), allowing our bodies to release FULLY and be supported. This practice gives us the physical and emotional support we often crave in our daily lives.
Meditation brings focus in a safe, nonjudgmental space - allowing us to let go of what holds us back and explore what we really want and need in our lives.
This course is designed for all levels from beginners to advanced yoga practitioners. With detailed instructions and intuitive sequencing, I will guide you through the practices offering variations and modifications for the poses. NO music, no distraction, just pure yoga bliss. You can practice at your own pace, whenever and wherever you want!
