Learn how to improve your scale-playing effectively:
In this class, I will walk you through all the scales in the ABRSM Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3 exams. These videos are designed not just for listening, but for students to practice along. In each scale, there will be
1) a slower tempo version for practice (which is repeated twice for playing along),
2) a demonstration at the exam-required tempo, and
3) some additional exercise/key points that help you overcome the technical obstacles on the way
Through these easy-to-follow videos, students can learn the followings about the scales:
Intonation
Rhythm
Bow Movement
Fingering
Tone
Posture
Listening and playing along these demonstrations are a great way of improving your playing quickly. Most students begin to see obvious progress after one or two weeks of playing along these videos. This class is suitable for violin learners that are Grade 3 or below (or the equivalence of it). For intermediate level scales, follow the other course published on the platform titled: 'Mastering the ABRSM Grade 4 Violin Scales' and 'Mastering the ABRSM Grade 6 Violin Scales' !
In addition, I also recommend focusing on 1-3 scales at a time in the beginning to make your practice effective. You can even plan your practice ahead by thinking about how many repetitions you want to do in one session.
Remember, patience is the key!

Good luck on your practice!
