About Software
Mimics is a software package developed by Materialise company. The software allows extracting 3D information from an image stack and building a 3D model from it using RP technology.
About Course
This course is divided into 4 modules:
Mimics navigation, measurements tools, interacting with 2D and 3D viewports, mimics operations (Mimics- Crop, cavity fill, region growing, Boolean operations, etc)
Basic and advanced segmentation, segmentation of an implanted hip (including bone cement, implant, and bone)
Remeshing the model’s surface elements and generating the model’s volume mesh
Material properties assignment
