This course will provide you the basic understanding about Microsoft Word software within 1 hour! First of all, we understand how to open a new Word document. We look at available templates within word. Then the concept of writing and editing a document with reference to checking grammar, spelling, word count, and inserting hyperlinks is reviewed. The next section discusses how to format text, create a bulleted number list, change the line spacing and apply themes. Then we will review how to layout pages, change the margins, insert header footer, and page numbers. Then we discuss how to insert pictures tables, icons and other shapes. How to save and print the document is also critical knowledge, which is reviewed in this course. Then we discuss about how to share and coauthor a document using one drive. The method to edit a document using track changes is described. We also will review how to create an equation or formula, double space the lines in the document, create bibliography, citation, references, and insert footnotes and endnotes. This course will improve your communication skills.
