Motion Control with Servo Motor

What You Will Learn!

  • Operate motor servo (the same concept applies to other brands);
  • Control the servo in different modes: position, speed, torque, stand alone mode;
  • Check servo variables through the digital oscilloscope;
  • Adjust servo motor homing routine;
  • Configuration of drive inputs and outputs;
  • Development of the individual functioning algorithm;
  • Auto tuning adjustment of the motor;
  • Comparison with conventional motors.

Description

Hello, my name is Wallace Alves, I am a Control and Automation Engineer, specialist in Software Engineering. Since 2011 I have worked in the field of industrial automation and robotics. I've had the opportunity to work with several brands of servo motors. This content I learned in the industry, I am making available here in the form of training with practical and theoretical classes about servo motors.

The Servo motor is an electromechanical component present in almost all industrial automation and robotic machines/devices, which require: precision, speed, high precision, torque and process repeatability.

Today it is possible to find them even in industrial robots, collaborative robots and cartesian robots.

It basically consists of a stator with coils and a rotor with magnets, in some cases it has a brake, and at the end it has a position and speed feedback encoder.

This training comes to show how a servo motor works in theory and practice. How to parameterize and test servo drives and motors in a didactic way, with support for students.

The servo motor software is free and will be available in classes. There is nothing on the market like this training yet! Take advantage of this opportunity and good studies.

Who Should Attend!

  • For those who seek to learn how a servo motor works in theory and practice.
