Reiki Level 1 is known as Sho Den (The Entrance) where seekers learn the history of Reiki energy, how it is used, and basic techniques for hands-on treatment for self and others. Reiki reintroduces seekers to a way of life that was lost with the ancients during a time when all they had was their energetic abilities for survival and protection. The importance of the Level 1 course is to prepare you for the most important healing that you will do. That healing is on self. Too many of us walk around pouring our cups into others while we are empty ourselves. In order to be an effective healer, you must first heal yourself and this course discusses the importance of self-healing.
This course has been complied in a step-by-step method that will give you the confidence you need to begin your Reiki practice, whether you decide to perform healing or move on to teach.
