Description

The PCI SSC Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) Program provides a foundational credential for industry practitioners who demonstrate their professional knowledge and understanding of PCI SSC standards (“PCI Standards”) and supporting materials. The PCI Security Standards Council, LLC (“PCI SSC”) sponsors this qualification and serves as an impartial, third-party evaluator of each candidate’s knowledge and understanding of PCI Standards. PCI SSC is an open global forum for the ongoing development, enhancement, storage, dissemination and implementation of security standards for account data protection.

The purpose of these Payment Card Industry (PCI) Qualification Requirements for Payment Card Industry Professionals (PCIP) (the “PCIP Qualification Requirements”) is to provide the information required to apply for PCIP status by summarizing key aspects of the program and steps to earning and maintaining the PCIP credential.

Welcome to the PCIP preparation questions course. My name is Dennis Steenbergen and I have worked over five years in the Payment Card Industry as a Qualified Security Assessor evaluating and testing payment service providers, banks and online merchants for compliance to the PCI DSS standard. I addition, I have worked over 25 years in the Internet security industry.

Its important to prepare yourself for this certification because its very expensive and you don’t need to be wasting time or money taking this exam multiple times. If you work for a company like my previous companies, they only reimburse exam and training costs for passing the exam but not for failing it. The Security Council is offering this training at a cost for non-participating organizations at a whopping $2,750. And to become a Participating Organization, that will cost your company another $4.100. Even if you are a Participating Organization, the Security Council still charges $1,7000 per student. Then if you just want to take the exam and not the training, its still $1,700 the first time. So, you need to make sure you're going to pass.

That’s why I believe you’re here. We are going to solve this certification together. I am personally going to answer any questions you may have regarding this course. Please feel free to message me through the instructor messaging center.
