The course is to introduce Microsoft Office Project. This unique instructor-led and self-learning tutorial presents a case study of a building construction project to show how one can use Microsoft Office Project to schedule, monitor, and control a project schedule.
We have chosen a room construction project due to assumed familiarity to many of its required tasks and processes. The description of the project in the case study makes the tutorial very accessible.
The aim of this tutorial is to introduce the basic features and the most commonly used functions of Microsoft Office Project 2010 through 2021 that are required by planners in order to setup, monitor and control a project using the program.
Within less than two hours, planners, project managers, engineers and learners will know how to setup a project schedule in Microsoft Office Project. Users will develop confidence in updating a schedule, monitoring project progress and cost, as well as generating relevant views and reports about tasks, resources and assignments.
As a tool for visual reinforcement, a screen recorded video is presented along with each slide in order to show the implementation of the steps.
Footnotes appearing under the steps are only explanatory and do not require any additional action on your part. On the other side, endnotes are independent of the presentation. However, we encourage you to go through them in order to broaden your understanding of the program.
