Description

I am so excited to welcome you to this course.  Recording and editing guitars should be fun and rewarding.  I hope to help make this the case and give you folks the confidence you need to record some amazing guitars at home, ready for your next Spotify track!

We will begin by talking about what exactly you need to record guitars at home whether thats professionally or just for fun.  In this day and age you don't have to go to a studio to record great sounding guitars.

We will look at Using Logic Pro to record our electric guitars and why double tracking and EQ basics are so important.  Sometimes just those small tweaks can make a big difference!

We will discuss Amp Modellers and why I use them instead of real amps now.  The Kemper profiler is now used by many industry professionals to get results that sound just like real amps and often better than the real thing!

We will look at delay and reverb, the king of guitar effects and howe to apply them, and then look at compression.

Finally we will look at the sweet spots for micing our acoustic guitars and then why using a capo is so beneficial with the Nashville number system.

I hope to see you on the other side soon

Let's do this!
