Welcome to my RFQ course!
My name is Robert Freeman and I am procurement expert.
I am working in Procurement and supply chain since the early 2000's, and I am very happy to share with you some of my practical knowledge. This course will guide you through the tendering process, and more specifically about the part of this process which is called RFQ - Request for Quotation.
This tool is used in most organizations all over he globe! It is by far my favorite tool in Procurement professional arsenal.
In this course we will look into the difference between these 4 terms:
RFI (Request for Information),
RFT – Request for Tender,
RFP – Request for Proposal,
RFQ – Request for Quotation.
And of course we will concentrate on RFQ part. We will look into the preconditions for running a successful RFQ. What should we prepare as Procurement or Purchasing specialists before even starting the tendering process.
We will also establish the right mindset for tendering process and RFQ. These soft factors are critically important for running the successful RFQ.
And finally - we will go through RFQ process. Step-by-step from preparing the specifications till awarding the contract!
In the end I will share some of my Tips and tricks for successful RFQ, based on my experience and practice.
This course will give you only the proven practices for Procurement, Purchasing and Supply chain professionals!
I do all my courses in a way that I would like to listen to the course on my own as well. So the material is easy to follow and understand, well structured and presented in a simple and straightforward way.
