Description
In this engaging and transformative tutor training course we will cover both how to keep yourself and your students safe using Safeguarding legislation, laws, and techniques.
We provide useful strategies to recognise, report and respond, what to look for, and additional Safeguarding requirements as a tutor.
This is a CPD-Accredited course, and is Unit 1 of our Qualified Tutor 5-part course and Level 3 Award in Education). Upon completion you will receive a digital credential to showcase online and in your marketing that you have completed a Safeguarding course.
We created Qualified Tutor in 2019 to make sure that Tutors had the same support that teachers should be getting in schools to ensure that we are all doing our best work.
Keeping children safe in education is a key requirement for all educators.
We know that we need to be there an be vigilent to ensure that every child and vulnerable adult is safe and protected from any type of abuse.
To be able to do that, we all need to be vigilent, it is all of our responsibility.
As tutors, because we work so closely with students, means we can be aware of the changes - in their demeanor and their environments. There is a lot of support out there for accessing appropriate and helpful Safeguaring training. In this course, we deliver an effective course of self-paced and recorded content to enable you to recognise respond and report Safeguarding concerns.
