This is a basic SAP Overview course, which is designed for anyone who want to start learning and using SAP S/4HANA and looking forward to developing a high-level process understanding of various business process in an enterprise. This course covers the basic business process in Purchase to Pay, Plan to Produce, Order to Cash, Record to Report, and Recruit to Retire with short step by step demonstrations.
This course is based on SAP S/4HANA 2020 using SAP Easy Access and SAP Fiori.
Purchase to Pay: The end-to-end business processes in purchasing that involves the activities of requesting, purchasing, receiving, paying for goods and services. This course covers the key basic process theory and demonstration of the key process steps in Purchase to Pay.
Plan to Produce: The end-to-end business process in producing goods that involves the activities of production planning, scheduling, production order processing, shop floor execution and the necessary postings. This course covers the key basic process theory and demonstration of the key process steps in Plan to Produce.
Order to Cash: The end-to-end business process in receiving and processing customer orders that involves the activities of sales, shipping, transportation, and billing. This course covers the key basic process theory and demonstration of the key process steps in Order to Cash.
Record to Report: The end-to-end business processes in financial accounting and management accounting that involves the activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and cost accounting. This course covers the key basic process theory and demonstration of the key process steps in Record to Report.
Recruit to Retire: The end-to-end business processes in human capital management that involves the activities of hiring, education, training, and development, payroll compensation and benefits. This course covers the key basic process theory.
This course also provides you basic overview on Embedded Analytics, SAP Best Practices and SAP Activate to help you get started in the SAP journey.
From an SAP S/4 HANA components perspective, this overview course walks you through the key basic functionality from Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO) and Human Experience Management (SAP HR) enough to cover the course scope.

This course is both case study-based and demonstration-based. Starting with the basic navigation both in SAP Easy Access and SAP Fiori, you will be learning the system fundamentals, organization structure, master data and transaction data, business process such as Purchase to Pay, Plan to Produce, Order to Cash, Record to Report, and Recruit to Retire with a case study on a company called Bicycle Inc which is implementing SAP S/4HANA. You will learn about the organization structure, master data, transaction data and end to end business process on how SAP S/4HANA is implemented in Bicycle Inc with a demonstration of the roles and system tasks involved for each of the end-to-end business process.

This course is aimed at anyone who wants to become familiar with the SAP S/4HANA or get an overview of the most important functions and components. Some of the Subject Master Experts in one process area in SAP S/4HANA may also find this course useful to develop overall understanding of other process areas. If you’re already very familiar with the SAP S/4HANA and want to specialize in one of the various SAP S/4HANA components, or if you’re looking for the very detailed information, that's beyond the scope of this course and this is probably not the best resource for you.
This is not a technical course, neither a configuration course, nor a very detailed process review. The emphasis is to deliver SAP S/4HANA process understanding in an easy to follow format in a short time.
