There is no denying that we are in a warfare, but we were never meant to fight and fight for who knows what. Confusion is when you fight the wrong enemy, and you think you are on track. It does not make sense, and some just get weary in wel-doing.
We are not fighting for life.
1Ti 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Jesus took on Satan and already won the crown of life and became our forerunner within the veil. Our warfare is to run the race that is set before us by renewing our minds and not succumbing to the darkness that still surrounds us. This is not our eternal abode. There is only one way to overcome this darkness.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
We cannot fight darkness with darkness we have to understand, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal and we are not fighting Satan.
