For over 25 years I have been a practicing professional artist. I have exhibited throughout North America and continue to do so. Throughout those 25+ years I simultaneously maintained an art educator role in both the public and private sector. For 15 of those years I ran my own ‘artist in the classroom’ business where I would (on average) reach 3000 students a year, teaching them numerous art techniques and theories.

Because of the volume of students I would educate within a year, I developed an understanding of what and how to teach the most effective art techniques in the most obtainable and comprehensive manner, for students aged 9 to 99.

This course brakes down the basic shading skills that students can use effectively in any style of drawing.
